Summer is the perfect time for smoothies – woudn’t you agree?
So, it’s a sunny day and you’d like to get some refreshments. A smoothie would sound great right now, wouldn’t it?! I usually make myself smoothies with all kinds of fruits. Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, rasberries and melon are my favorites. So, I was anxious to try something new. Something with basil! So, here it goes:
Ingredients for one big glas:
- 1 ripe mago
- 10 basil leaves
- a little bit of coconut water
- 200 grams of greek yoghurt
- 2 tsp sea seeds
Blend nicely and you get this delicious smoothie:
It is soooo amazing, tastes really nice and is soo healthy as well. You don’t need any kind of sweatner and you still get a rich flavor. I also love that you can actually taste every ingredient so well. You taste the sweet mango as well as the fresh basil. You get that yoghurt sense and you can also taste them gooey sea seeds. I love trying new things, especially when they turn out to be such a nice surprise!
